Since 1970, International Zoological Expeditions, Inc. (IZE) has been the pioneer of educational eco-adventure expeditions in Belize. Over the years IZE has hosted tens of thousands of students, teachers, families and adventurers at South Water Caye and Blue Creek Rainforest Lodge.
Hollywood and IZE Belize
Dr. Bob Ballard of the JASON Project chose both IZE Belize sites for his live broadcast on tropical biology to students throughout the world. Walt Disney choose our locations to produce two full-length TV broadcasts. And Jeff Corwin of the Discovery Channel got his start with IZE Belize, first as a student of biology and then as
an IZE staff member guiding trips to our sites in Belize.
